Acceptance of terms

By using this website or placing an order with Ember Custom Foods, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order.

Our service

Ember Custom Foods is a meal prep service based in Anchorage, Alaska, founded in 2020. We prepare weekly rotating menus of chef-made meals available for Saturday pickup in Anchorage.

Ordering and pickup

Orders submitted through this website are inquiries. Your order is confirmed only when Chef Clayton responds by email or phone. By submitting an order form, you authorize us to contact you at the email address and phone number you provide.

The order cutoff is Friday 5:00 PM. Orders received after the cutoff may be held for the following week.

Pickup is every Saturday, 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM. The exact pickup address is provided after your order is confirmed. Exact pickup address provided when you place your order.

Payment

All payments are collected in person at pickup. We accept credit card, debit card, and cash. We do not process online payments, and no payment card information is collected or stored through this website. Prices are as listed and may vary with portion size and protein selection. Prices are subject to change weekly.

Dietary accommodations and allergens

We make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies when noted at the time of order. However, our kitchen handles common allergens including gluten, dairy, and nuts, and others. We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

If you have a severe allergy or a medical dietary requirement, please contact Chef Clayton directly by phone at (907) 229-1516 before ordering.

Cancellations and changes

To cancel or modify an order, contact Chef Clayton before the order cutoff (Friday 5:00 PM). Changes after the cutoff may not be possible as meals are already in preparation. Since payment is at pickup, no refunds or charges apply if you cancel before cutoff. Orders not collected during the pickup window are forfeited.

All content on this website, including photos, menu descriptions, and copy, is the property of Ember Custom Foods and may not be reproduced without permission. Menu items, prices, and availability rotate weekly and are subject to change without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ember Custom Foodsis not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the order giving rise to the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Anchorage, Alaska.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site or placing an order after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
