Terms of Service

Ember Custom Foods provides chef-prepared meal prep pickup services in the Anchorage, Alaska area. Our services include:

• Weekly meal prep packages with rotating menu selections
• Daily soups and sandwiches (Monday through Friday)
• Saturday pickup service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time with or without notice.

Ordering: All orders must be placed through our authorized channels. Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Payment: Payment is due at the time of order. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated on our website. All prices are in U.S. dollars and subject to change without notice.

Order Deadlines: Weekly meal orders must be placed by the specified deadline. Late orders may not be accepted.

Cancellation Policy: Orders may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Refunds: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of misuse or abuse of our services.

Quality Issues: If you are unsatisfied with the quality of your meal, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup. We will work with you to resolve the issue.

Pickup Times: Meals are available for pickup on Saturdays during designated hours. You are responsible for picking up your order during the specified time window.

Missed Pickups: If you fail to pick up your order, we are not responsible for the quality or safety of the food. No refunds will be issued for missed pickups.

Storage: Once picked up, you are responsible for proper storage and handling of all food items according to food safety guidelines.

Allergen Information: While we make efforts to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies, we cannot guarantee that our meals are free from all allergens. Our kitchen may contain and process common allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, soy, and shellfish.

Disclaimer: You are responsible for informing us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions. We are not liable for any allergic reactions or health issues resulting from consumption of our meals.

Food Handling: All meals should be refrigerated immediately and consumed by the indicated date. Follow all reheating instructions carefully.

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Engage in fraudulent activity or abuse our services
• Interfere with or disrupt our services or servers
• Use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ember Custom Foods shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and recipes, is the property of Ember Custom Foods and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Anchorage, Alaska.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
